श्रीमती राधारानी अति मधुरा हैं, बहुत प्यारी राधारानी हर चीज में बहुत प्यारी हैं। जैसे वल्लभाचार्य कृष्ण के लिए गाते हैं: अधरम मधुरम वदानम मधुरम्: नयनम मधुरम हसीतम मधुरम: हृदयं मधुरम गमनम् मधुरम्: मधुर-आदिपतेर अखिलम मधुरामि जैसे कृष्ण हैं मिठास के बादशाह... राधारानी हैं मिठास की रानी! इसके बारे में सब कुछ मीठा है: उसकी बातें मधुर हैं, उठती मधुर है, मुस्कान मधुर है, प्रकृति मधुर है, लीला मधुर है, सौंदर्य मधुर है। जो कोई भी राधारानी के संपर्क में आएगा, वह उसके प्यार में पड़ जाएगी। राधारानी की मिठास के दीवाने थे मां यशोदा भी... एक दिन, माँ यशोदा गुडियों से भरा एक बड़ा बॉक्स पैक कर रही थी - रेशमी कपड़े, पढ़ाई, कपूर, कस्तूरी, गहने.. कितने महंगे सामान पैक किए जा रहे थे। तब कृष्ण अंदर गए और पूछा, "हे माँ, तुम क्या कर रही हो?" माता यशोदा ने कहा, "मैं इसे पैक अभी कर रही हूं।" कृष्ण ने पूछा, "किसके लिए?" माता यशोदा ने उत्तर दिया, "मैं किसी विशेष के लिए पैकिंग कर रही हूं, मेरे दिल को बहुत प्रिय..." यह सुनकर कृष्ण को तुरंत थोड़ी जलन होने लगी, "क्या आपका मतलब है कि आप इसे मेरे और बलराम के लिए पैक कर रहे हैं?" माता यशोदा ने उत्तर दिया, "आपके लिए नहीं।" कृष्ण ने पूछा, "तो मुझे और बलराम से ज्यादा आपको कौन प्रिय है?" माता यशोदा ने कहा, "क्यों नहीं तुम बाहर जाकर खेलो? 100 प्रश्न पूछकर मुझे परेशान मत करो!" कृष्ण ने कहा, "जब तक आप मुझे न बताएं, मैं कहीं नहीं जा रहा हूं! यह विशेष व्यक्ति कौन है?" तब कृष्ण एक क्रोधी चेहरा बनाते हैं और माता यशोदा ने कहा, "मेरे कई पवित्र कर्मों के कारण, भगवान ब्रह्मा ने मुझे आप के रूप में एक ही पुत्र दिया।" यह सुनकर कृष्ण प्रसन्न हुए। माता यशोदा ने आगे कहा, "और... उसके कारण उन्होंने एक सुंदर कन्या भी दी जो मेरी आंखों को दस्तावेज कपूर के दीपक की तरह है।" तब कृष्ण ने पूछा, "वह कौन है?" माता यशोदा ने उत्तर दिया, "ओह वह राधा! मैं जो पूरा पैक कर रही हूं वह उनके लिए है क्योंकि राधारानी के पति अभिमन्यु आए हैं। वहां देखो, वह तुम्हारे पिता से बात कर रहे हैं। एक बार जब वह बात कर चुके हैं तो वह मुझे प्रणाम करने जा रहे हैं तो मैं क्या दिखाऊंगा? मैं उसे खाली हाथ नहीं भेज सकता। इसलिए मैं यह बड़ा बॉक्स देख रहा हूं।" माँ यशोदा के कमरे से जाने के बाद, कृष्ण बॉक्स से सब कुछ खोल देते हैं और धनिष्ठा को दे देते हैं। फिर वह अंदर जाता है और ढक्कन बंद कर देता है। कुछ देर बाद मां यशोदा बक्सा लेने के लिए अंदर आई और अभिमन्यु को दे दी और कहा, "देखो, बहुत सारी खतरनाक चीजें हैं। इस बॉक्स को ले जाने के लिए अन्य पर भरोसा मत करो, इसलिए आप इसे स्वयं ले जाएं और इसे केवल राधा को दें। अभिमन्यु ने अपने सिर पर बक्सा रखा और वह सोच रहा था, "ये किस तरह के गहने और कपड़े हैं? वे मेरे सिर पर बहुत भारी हैं! आज मैं इतना आनंदित क्यों महसूस कर रहा हूं? मैंने कभी इस के आनंद का अनुभव नहीं किया किया है!" यवत पहुंचने के बाद उसने बॉक्स को नीचे रखा। तभी उनकी मां जतिला आई... उसने पूछा, "यह सब क्या है?" अभिमन्यु ने उत्तर दिया, "माँ यशोदा ने राधारानी के लिए भेजा।" जतिला ने कहा, "यहां सभी लड़कों को मत रखो। तुम जाओ और अपनी पत्नी के कमरे में रखो।" फिर अभिमन्यु राधारानी के तोशयनकक्ष में चली गईं और वहीं बक्सा रख दिया। उन्होंने एक हस्तलिखित पत्र लिखा है जिसमें माता यशोदा ने लिखा है, "हे राधारानी! तुम मुझे बहुत प्रिय हो। यह तुम्हारे लिए है और मैं तुमसे इसे लेने का अनुरोध करती हूं।" अभिमन्यु के जाने के बाद... राधारानी, ललिता सखी और सभी सखियां जो कमरे में थीं, उन सभी ने कहा और कृष्ण बाहर आए! ललिता कृष्ण को ताना मारने लगी, ''लगता है इस चोर ने मां यशोदा से सब कुछ ले लिया है। और पक्का है...! मैं परमात्मा कुछ समय दे रहा हूं... माल वापस कर दो नहीं तो हम मां जतिला को सर्वे करते हैं।" कृष्ण आलोचना करने लगे, "मैं बहुत निर्दोष हूं। मेरी माँ बॉक्स पैक कर रही थी और बॉक्स से इतना अच्छा गंध आ रही थी कि मैं उसके अंदर यह देखने के लिए गई थी कि उसमें से क्या बदबू आ रही है। और किसी तरह मैं एक छोटा लड़का होने के नाते... मैं बस बॉक्स के अंदर सो गया। मुझे नहीं पता कि किसने ढक्कन बंद किया और मैं यहां लाया? उसने जबरदस्ती अपने पति को भेज दिया और आई। मेरा यहां आने का कोई इरादा नहीं है। अगर आप चमकते हैं तो मैं जेल जाने को तैयार हूं।
